Attractions

The game drives include exciting and educational close encounters with the predators which will be part of the Big Cat Sanctuary. There are currently five different predator species on the farm including Bengal Tiger, Caracal, Leopard, Lions and Wild Dogs, accommodated in temporary enclosures all adapted to ensure the safety of both humans and animals. Aardwolf, Black-backed Jackal and Caracal naturally occur in the area, although seldom spotted due to their nocturnal behaviour and activities. Baboons have also been spotted on the sandstone cliffs and overhanging rocks above the Lodge. Dedicated rangers are available for general information on the wildlife and an eco-educational tour around the lodge facilities where some smaller or younger predators may be kept.
